Sources: senior commander of Saleh forces confirmed dead in coalition airstrike in Saada

Local sources have confirmed the death of a senior military commander of the forces loyal to the former President Ali Abdullah Saleh in an air raid launched by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition days ago.

The sources told Almasdaronline that Colonel Abdul Khaleq Mohammed Saleh al Bayadhi, commander in the Special Forces, was killed in an airstrike in Saada governorate, northern Yemen, last Saturday.

Al Bayadi belongs to the "Dar Salm" area of Sanhan distrit, south of Sana'a, and his body was believed to be buried on Wednesday in his hometown, according to the sources.

No further details about the death of al Bayadhi were mentioned, but GPC supporters posted a photo for him in military uniform in the social networking confirming that he was killed last Saturday.
