The government forces advance northern Saada

The government and poplar resistance forces had made a military progress and took control of many sites in the al Boqe' front in Saada governorate, the stronghold of the Houthi group, far northern Yemen.

 

A military source told Almasdaronline that the government forces have seized control on the hills overlooking al Boqe' junction which links Saada and al Jawf governorates, northeastern Yemen, after fierce fighting on Tuesday with the Houthis and allied forces.

 

The Saudi-led Arab Coalition fighters also launched several air raids on rebels' weapons stores in Abwab al Hadid mounts in Baqim district, near to the Saudi-Yemeni borders.

 

It is noteworthy that the government forces, that control Baqim border port, has advanced in Alab area, and fierce battles has been flaring between the two sides over the last weeks.
