A source in the popular resistance said on Friday that a field commander in the forces loyal to the Houthis and ex-president Saleh was killed along with a number of militants in an airstrike launched by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition fighters in Nehm district, northeastern the capital Sana’a.
The source told Almasdaronline that an airstrike had targeted a Houthi military vehicle in al Hanashat area in Nehm killing the Houthi artillery commander Ayedh Sahlool and unidentified number of militants.
The source added that another raid also destroyed a vehicle in Furah mount in Nehm, while violent confrontations between the pro-government forces and the Houthis and allied forces were ongoing.
