Two civilians killed in coalition airstrikes northern Hodeida

A local source said that two civilians were killed on Monday in airstrikes launched by the fighters of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition on al Zaydiah district, northern Hodeida governorate, on the Red Sea coast, western Yemen.

 

The source told Almasdaronlin that the airstrikes targeted honey apiaries western al Gar farms, killing Yahya Abu Ghaith and his nephew Ali Haikal.

 

It is noteworthy that Yahya’s brother Saddam was also killed late October of last year in a similar airstrike targeted al Zaydiah security department when he was imprisoned there.

 

 

 

According to the source, the air strikes targeted last Friday dozens of citizen's beehives in al Qanawis area, northern Hodeida governorate.

 

One week back also, a man was killed and his beehives completely destroyed in the same area”.

 

''We have no idea why the coalition fighters are bombing the bees farms,'' said the source.
