Fierce fighting between the Saudi army and Houthi–Saleh forces was renewed on Saturday in the Yemeni-Saudi border areas.

A source from the field told Almasdaronline that the battles broke out in the Saudi city of Jizan, off the border region, amid airstrikes by the fighter jets.

The source added that the two sides  exchanged fire, using heavy and medium weapons.

The source didn't rule out casualties on both sides, but indicated that there were many from the Houthis, due to the intensive air raids launched by warplanes, including Apache helios.
