A local source said on Monday that a US drone attack has killed one of al Qaeda elements and injured another in the Yashbam valley of Shabwa governorate, southeastern Yemen.

The source told Almasdaronline that the air raid bombed a car for al Qaeda elements while driving in al Shebah area of al Saeed district.

It is noteworthy that Washington has been carrying out a military operation against al-Qaeda in a number of Yemeni governments since last Thursday, in a new round of US war on the most serious branch of the globally outlawed organization.
