Child girl killed by Houthi sniper, two others died under siege – local sources

A child girl was killed by a sniper of the Houthi-Saleh forces and two other children died on Wednesday under the siege imposed by the Houthis in al Wafi area in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen.

 

In identical statements, local sources told Almasdaronline that the 10 year-old Rasayel Samed Aqlan was killed by a Houthi sniper in al Shaqab area eastern Saber al Mawadem district.

 

The sources added that two other children had also died after the residents could not take them to hospital to receive medical treatment.

 

The child Abdul Rahman Mansour was visiting his grandmother who lives in another village, and when he went to bring water he drowned in the pond and died before reaching the nearest hospital”.

 

Last Monday also, the child Nafedh Qasem Saleh of Qushaibah village died of serious injuries he had suffered when he fell down while raising the cattle, and the residents were not able to take him to a hospital.

 

It is noteworthy that the Houthi-Saleh militias are imposing tight siege on al Wafi area northern Jabal Habshi district, and the people are forced to go through very rugged roads to reach the nearest city.
