Five militants of the Houthi-Saleh forces were killed on Monday and seven others wounded in battles against the pro-government and Popular Resistance forces eastern Taiz city, southwestern Yemen. A military source told Almasdaronline.

The source added that two soldiers of the pro-government forces were also killed in the fighting near the Presidential Palace.

Meanwhile, the Houthis stationing at Softil and al Sallal hills in al Hoban had shelled artillery and tanks shells on the eastern neighborhoods of the city, which injured three civilians in front of the Republican Hospital gate.
