Houthi gunmen opened fire on the citizen “Mahr al-Safari” on friday while passing in front of a mosque under their control in Hotah neighborhood in central Yemen’s Dhamar province.

Eyewitnesses said that Houthi gunmen shot and wounded Mahr al-Safari in the chest while passing on his motorcycle in front of Houthis-controlled mosque during the today’s Friday Prayer, leaving him bleeding to death.

A local source reported that dozens of tribal gunmen gathered to the city of Dhamar ,demanding Houthi militants to deliver al-Safari’s killer within 24 hours at least or facing dire consequences, according to the source.
