Arab Coalition pound Houthis, clashes flare up in Taiz and Lahj

The Saudi-led Arab Coalition aircrafts launched on Sunday several air raids on the Houthis-Saleh forces sites western Taiz city, southwestern Yemen, while the government forces launched an attack on the Houthis sites in Karish and al Shurija districts, northern Lahj province.

 

A military source told Almasdaronline that 10 air raids targeted the Houthi militias sites in al Omari area, killing 10 militias, wounding 14 others, and destroying a Katyusha rocket  launch base, as well as two military vehicles, also three other  raids targeted sites near al Arish area northern Mozza district, killing 4  militias and wounding 5 others.

 

 

On the one hand, fierce battles were broke out between the Houthi militias and the government forces in al Kadaha  area, while the Houthis fired about 20 Katyusha rockets at the government forces sites in Thubab district, according to the source.

 

The source added that the government forces thwarted a large-scale attack of the Houthis in al Sayar area of al Selew district, southeastern Taiz.

 

 

Moreover, a field source told Almasderonline that the government forces attacked the Houthis-Saleh forces sites in the outskirts of Karish area in al Sawda Hill, in coincidence with heavy artillery shelling in al Shurija district, resulted in the  killing of 4 Houthis and wounding 6 others.
