Emirati military officer killed in airplane crash

The official spokesman of the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces said on Monday that an Emirati military officer fell into the Red Sea, and died.


The Colonel Turki al-Maliki said that "on Monday morning at 9:45, one of the aircraft belonging to the UAE Armed Forces participating in the operations of restoring hope in Yemen fell while performing one of the reconnaissance missions in the area for technical reasons''.


"The Lieutenant Sultan bin Mohammed Ali Al Naqbi was died in the crash."


It is noteworthy that, since the beginning of the Arab collation operations to regain the legitimate government in Yemen, 11 airplanes jets have crashed, five of them Emirati, three Saudi, and one for Jordan, Bahrain and Morocco.
