Houthis organize military parade of new recruits in Hodeida

A military source said that the Houthis group has staged a military parade with hundreds of new recruits near the May 22 parade platform southern al Hodeida city, on the Red Sea coast in western Yemen.

 

The source told Almasdaronline that the recruits were from number of provinces that are under the Houthis control, but the largest proportion are from al Hodeida province.

 

The source added that the parade was organized in the presence of a number of military commanders loyal to the Houthis

 

The source pointed out that the parade was the result of a general mobilization campaign which was carried out by the Houthis through their agents of al Hodeida province, namely Ali al-Qozi, the General Secretary of the local council in the province and the responsible for recruitment in the northern provinces.

 

The source added that the committee headed by Abdulrahman Al-Ghanami, the governorate's first deputy for administrative affairs and responsible for recruitment in the central governorates.

 

The source said that two last members were Mohammad Ayash Qahim, the governor deputy of the southern provinces, in addition to Ali Keshir, the deputy of the province for information and culture, who is responsible for recruitment in al Hodeida city.

 

The source said that this was the second such parade of the Houthis in al Hodeida city, where they had already made a similar parade in recent weeks.
