Arab coalition raids target Houthis sites in central Sana'a

Local residents and eyewitnesses said that the Saudi Arabian-led coalition fighters launched three air raids on Jabal al-Nahdeen, which overlooks the presidential house in central Sanaa on Thursday.

According to al-Masdar online, the airstrikes targeted positions of al-Houthi militants, who have been controlling Sanaa and a number of the country's governorates since late 2014.

They noted that smoke plumes had escalated from target locations.

Till now, details of the target sites could not be obtained, and the media loyal to the Houthis only reported the raids.

The shelling of Sanaa has been drastically reduced for months, and during the past month, warplanes raided Sanaa airport and the Daylami airbase, after the capital was a daily target for air strikes
