Taiz.. Police patrol says that Abu Abbas elements attacked the hotel shaman and killed one of them

The patrol police in Taiz province said that "Abu al-Walid", a leader in Abu Abbas brigades, attacked on Saturday with armed groups the roads leading to the hotel Shamsan, and asked members of the police forces to leave the hotel according to the directives of Adel al-Izzi, deputy "Abu Abbas,".

It said in a statement that the Izzi arrived with a large number of gunmen next to the police officers located next to the hotel shamsan, and asked them to withdraw immediately, and the hotel was surrounded and besieged threatening to break into if the hotel is not delivered immediately.

Added, that the commander of the patrol police, Col. Mohammed Mahiob, was ambushed and left and fired heavily and with various types of weapons in his direction, in an attempt to assassinate him, after he went to the area after receiving a report from the soldiers.

Police vehicles (crews) were targeted, one was burned and another was damaged, he said.

The patrol police claimed the death of one of its soldiers, the escort of its commander, and blamed the deputy "Abu Abbas" Adel al-Izzi for the attack.

It called on al-Abbas battalion commander, Adel Abdo Fare’a, to hand over the Izzi and those who described them as killers to the security apparatus.

In its statement, the patrol police also called on the province, the Presidential Commission and the Security Committee to play their role in relation to the police personnel, demanding that the killers be handed over immediately in order to receive their fair reward and that they be fully responsible for any inaction or complacency in the blood of police officers.
