Advancing of  the government forces in Haradh after their control of the ‘Ahem  triangle and a number of villages


The government forces of the fifth military region on Monday took control of the ‘Ahem Triangle and a number of neighbouring villages belonging to the Haradh district and other strategic positions north of the northern province of Hajjah.

This came after the launch of the government forces led by Major General Yahya Hussein Salah, commander of the fifth region and with the support of the Arab coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia, this morning, a large military operation against the sites of the Houthis, per a military source reported to "Al-Masdar  online".

He said that the government forces took control of the remaining of Hiraan district, the road linking the ‘Ahem Triangle and the Haradh district, to the 'Ahem Triangle and the villages of Tanabkah, Al-Mashaibah, Alqub’ah, and Sawalma.

They also took control of the strategic Black Hills sites bordering a number of villages in Haradh.

According to the source, a number of al-Houthi militants have been killed and wounded, suffered heavy losses in violent battles, air strikes by coalition fighter jets, as well as other captures.

In the context, fighter jets carried out similar raids on the Houthis ' reinforcements on their way to supply the Houthis in Haradh, and six raids destroyed military vehicles on the outskirts of the departments of Abbs and Mastaba.
