Government: We hope to raise production to 110 thousand barrels of oil per day

The Yemeni government is seeking to raise its oil production in the current year to 110,000 barrels per day, oil and Minerals Minister Aus al-Oud said.

Yemen hopes to increase its crude production to 110,000 barrels per day in 2019, with exports touching about 75,000 barrels per day, “Reuters” quoted Al-Oud as saying.

The war-torn country produced about 50,000 barrels per day in 2018, compared with an average of about 127 thousand barrels per day in 2014. Yemen exported some oil last year.
