Gunmen of Houthi armed group broke into the 48 Model Hospital compound on Wednesday carrying out assaults on number of the staff in Yemeni capital city of Sana'a. 

"Five of the medical and administrative staff have injured as a result of the assault by the Houthi gunmen.", Sources told Al-Masdaronline.

"The gunmen stormed the hospital, detained some of the staff members, doctors and administrative personnel and attacked them. The gunmen led by a son of a Houthi operative fired live bullets on air. "Said Kamal Al-Khwthani, an activist from Popular Congress Party.

A committee representing the staff of the 48 military hospital in an official statement condemned the attack on employees of the hospital and called for holding those responsible accountable and bringing them to justice, threatening to stop working if  no response appear to such demands of the staff.

The statement said the " a militia led by Twafeek Al-Shawosh, and Abudllah Al-Ghurbani carried out an assault on staff of the hospital in response to personal incitement by a man called Mohammed Saleh Shaaban.
