11 gunmen from forces of Houthis and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh have been killed on Saturday in the operation of retaking Al-ghail district by Yemen' national army backed by popular resistance fighters in Al-Jawf, eastern south of Yemen.
Forces of Yemeni government, backed by fighters of popular resistance and participation of Saudi-led coalition air fighters, have retaken on Saturday Al-Ghail village stronghold area of Houthi fighters and allied forces of former president Ali Abdullah Saelh,.
A source from the battlefield said to Al-Masdaronline, that "government forces are in full control of Al-ghail district after fierce battles and weeks of tighten besiege on Houthi militias and forces loyal to former president Saleh."
Al-ghail district in Al-Jawf province is a stronghold of Houthis , and center of Shiite Twelver sectarian doctrine. It is the springboard of Houthi fighters and hometown of 70% of the group' senior leaders of its wars.
