Pro-government resistance fighters storm a major hospital in Yemen’s Taiz city

Popular resistance gunmen from forces loyal to Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's government have stormed a major hospital and assaulted the medical personnel on Sunday in Taiz city, middle of Yemen. A medical source told Al-Masdaronline.

 

The gunmen broke into the Al-Thwara public biggest hospital in Taiz, a main functioning hospital among few remained operating hospitals in the war-torn city. The source said.

 

The gunmen spread out in the hospital sections and assaulted some of the staff inside leading to full strike of Emergent Surgery department. He added.

 

Taiz city has been living under tremendous volatile with constant clashes and shelling between forces of Houthi-Saleh alliance and pro-president Hadi forces backed by popular resistance fighters for almost two years.

 

Tow Houthi gunmen have been killed on clashes with government forces and popular resistance near the central prison eastern Taiz, while forces Houthi-Saleh continued their shelling to residential neighborhoods of Beer Basha bringing about phusical destruction to several houses.
