Government forces control new sites in Al Buq'a, Saada Governorate

Government forces backed by the Popular Resistance took control on Monday over new sites in Al Buq'a area of Saada Governorate, the stronghold of the Houthi group, far north of Yemen.

The Armed Forces Media Centre posted on its facebook page that, "the government forces, backed by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition fighters, launched attacks on Houthi sites, which led to the killing and injuring of a number of Houthis.

The Armed Forces Media Centre quoted a military source saying, "the army forces have freed Khaliqa site after fierce fighting with the Houthi militia, while the army artillery destroyed a rocket launcher and a howitzer in Salafeh area. "A Houthi military vehicle carrying dozens of mines was also destroyed by the army artillery," added the source. On the one hand, engineering teams are still going on demining the Houthis mines planted in the roads leading to Buq'a City.
