Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi received on Thursday the UN envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh, in the temporary capital Aden city. As reported by Yemen News Agency "Saba".

 
The President stressed that the peace in Yemen has to be based on the three references; the GCC initiative, NDC outputs, and UN resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216, according to Saba news agency.
 
Saba news agency pointed out that Hadi is keen on the achievement of a lasting peace that does not carry the seeds of any future war.
 
Hadi added that the coup makers have dealt with the calls for peace with arrogance and intransigence, "which should be met with a serious stand by the international community".
 
During the meeting, President Hadi handed over a letter to the UN envoy, which contained Yemen Government's response and refute to the roadmap recently put forward by the latter. Saba news agency reported.
