Ibb: after killing Houthi leader, civilian's house burnt and children abducted as hostages

A Houthi leader was killed and another one wounded on Sunday at al Sahol district, northern Ibb governorate, central Yemen.

 

A local source told Almasdaronline that a civilian named Mohammed Abdulkarim have opened the fire on Houthi rebels after trying to kidnap him and break into his house by force. 

 

The Houthi leader of the Al Makhader district, Taher Shaohata, was killed and another one wounded, while the civilian fled to an unknown location. 

 

However, the Houthi militants have broken into his house, expelled his family members, looted all contents in the house including the furniture and jewelry, and kidnapped his children from the school as hostages.

 

According to the source, the rebels also set the house and farm of Abdulkareem and the farms of his relatives in fire.
