Houthi gunmen loot WFP aid trucks heading to al Baidha

The Houthi militants have looted aid trucks provided by the WFP to the people affected by war in al Baidha governorate, central Yemen, according to local sources.

The sources told Almasdaronline that the Houthi militants have stopped trucks loaded with humanitarian aides and were on the way to the people affected by the war in Thi Naim district in al Baidha governorate, and took them to their warehouses.

A humanitarian relief source said that the aides, that included necessary foodstuff, were supposed to be distributed to 2800 families in the area.

It is noteworthy that the Houthi militias have earlier confiscated a number of aid trucks provided by international organizations for those affected by war in several governorates.
