Al: Mocha fighting escalates, coalition fighters launch ten airstrikes on Houthi sites

The battles escalated on Sunday between the pro-government forces and the Houthis and Saleh forces in the eastern areas of al Mocha district, western Taiz governorate, southwestern Yemen.

 

A field source told Almasdaronline that heavy fighting was flaring in al Hali neighborhood, near the governmental complex eastern Mocha, and in al Sueis neighborhood, southern the city.

 

Meanwhile, dozens of Houthi snipers were stationing on the surrounding buildings, on the governmental complex, and on the main road leading to the downtown.

 

The Houthi militias were also shelling with machine guns the teams entrusted to clear the landmines in al Suez neighborhood and the main road, in an attempt to prevent the government forces and their tanks from reaching al Mocha port.

 

On the other hand, the fighters of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition launched more than 10 air raids on the Houthis and allied forces sites northern l Mocha city and Mawza district.
