Government forces repel Houthi attacks in Sirwah, western Marib

The pro-government forces repelled on Tuesday several attacks launched by the Houthi-Saleh forces in Sirwah city in western Marib governorate, east of the capital, Sana’a.

A local source told Almasdaronline that the Houthi-Saleh forces attacked many sites in al Zoghin and Masirat al Jabha regions in western and southern Sirwah city. Fierce fighting between the two sides broke out as a result, as the pro-government forces fended them off.

The source added that the fighting caused a number of casualties on the Houthi side, while three pro-government forces were killed and six others wounded.

Moreover, the fighter jets of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition have launched several air raids on Houthi gatherings and reinforcement troops in a central area in Habab, a valley used by the Houthis for sending backup forces.
