Intense airstrikes on Houthis-Saleh forces in Yemen’s western coastal strip by coalition warplanes

The warplanes of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition launched on Wednesday 16 air raids on the sites of the forces loyal to the Houthi group and former president Saleh in the al Mocha, Mawza districts western Taiz, southwestern Yemen, and in al Khokha district southern Hodeida, western Yemen.

 

Local sources told Almasdaronline that the coalition warplanes stroke the rebels’ sites in Yekhtel area, with six air raids, and Khalid camp, in Mawza district, with four raids.

 

The coalition warplanes also launched six raids on Abu Musa al Ashari camp and another sites in al Khokha district”.     

 

The coalition air forces are intensifying the airstrikes after the Houthis and allied forces have been launching intense artillery shelling from northern al Mocha city on the pro-government forces in al Mocha city

 

The intense airstrikes come in coincidence with ongoing clashes flaring between the pro-government forces and the Houthis and allied forces in the outskirts of Yakhtel area.

 

It is noteworthy that the coalition air defense systems have intercepted 8 short-range missiles fired by the Houthis and allied forces from their camps in Mawza and al Khokha on the pro-government forces in al Mocha.
