A child died on Sunday in al Hazm city, the capital of Al-Jawf governorate, eastern Yemen, of his wounds in a missile shelling launched last Friday by the Houthis militiamen on the city.
Almasdaronline reporter quoted local residents saying that the two year-old Taha Sultan has died after he was injured by a missile shrapnel last Friday evening.
The father of the child was also killed two days ago, while fighting for the pro-government forces in al Moton front of al Jawf.
The family of the child also had migrated earlier from Amran city looking for safety, but the Houthis’ missile, which was fired on al Hazm city, had hit their house, which resulted in the death of Taha.
Although al Hazm city and large parts of al-Jawf governorate have been secured by the pro-government forces more than a year ago, the Houthi-Saleh militias have been launching missile shelling on the areas from time to time, which often cause civilian casualties.
