Arab Coalition warplanes strike Houthis positions between Lahj and Taiz

A military source said that the Saudi-led Arab Coalition fighter jets launched on Tuesday several air raids on the sites of the forces loyal to the Houthi group and former president Saleh in the areas between the Taiz and Lahj governorates, southwestern Yemen.

The source told Almasdaronline that air raids have resulted in in the death of 10 militants and the injury of 14 others, and destroyed military equipment and vehicles in eastern Dhubab and northwestern al Mudharabah districts.

This bombing comes while the Houthis and allied forces were fighting desperately to penetrate the areas between Taiz and Lahj, so as to regain control of al Madharbah mountains.

Securing al Madharbah mountain by the Houthis will provide cover for their forces to advance towards the center of the coastal Dhubab district, and try to surround the pro-government forces in al Mocha district”.

Last week, the Houthis and allied forces sent large reinforcements to this area, according to the source.
