Pro-government military commander killed in a bomb explosion in Marib – source

A military commander in the Yemeni pro-government forces was killed Wednesday night in a bomb explosion in a road leading to the eastern city of Marib, the stronghold of the government and Arab coalition forces.

 

A military source told Almasdaronline that the bomb explosion had led to the death of Colonel Mohammed Al-Shawash, the military staff officer of the 203rd Brigade of the pro-government forces, while he was on a military patrol in the city.

 

The source added that five people were wounded by the explosion of the device, which was planted in a desert road leading to Sahn al Gin camp.
