While the girl still kidnapped since 52 days, the Houthis release the perpetrator in Ibb - source

A source in Ibb province, central Yemen, said on Saturday that the authorities of the Houthis group had released a kidnapper of a girl, while she is still kidnapped by him

Earlier, the Houthi authorities, which control Ibb province, have imprisoned Abdullah Zayed, who has been holding the young girl Eman Mohammed al Rashedi in his custody since 52 days, to force her marry his son.

The abducted girl's brother said that the Houthi-appointed governor Abdul Wahid Salah and the Houthi militants’ supervisor Abu Muhammad al-Tawoos had promised him to return his sister back.

I was surprised when I heard that the kidnapper was released, while my sister is still under his custody”. Said the girl’s brother to Almasdaronline.

To whom we can complain about this injustice and oppression done to us?” Wondered the girl’s brother with severe sorrow and pain.

It is noteworthy that similar incidents have taken place in the province before, where Houthi prominent figures force parents to marry their daughters to their militants.

Few months ago, a trial was held in a court for the marriage of a Houthi militant, despite the girl’s and her family’s objection to the marriage.
