Locals displaced forcibly by Hoouthis in al Manabeha village of al Bayda – residents

The militants of the Houthi group and forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh have evicted the residents of Al Manabha village of Qaifah district in northern al Bayda province, cenrtal Yemen, local residents said on Monday.

The residents told Almasdaronline that Houthi militants aboard military vehicles have raided the village, stormed the houses, and forcibly evicted the people on charges of supporting the elements of the Popular Resistance.

One of the residents said the Houthis had threatened if they insisted on staying in their homes, they would bomb the entire village.

"The villagers were forced to leave their homes and flee the village," he said.

The Houthis-Saleh forces have earlier displaced hundreds of civilians from their homes in a number of Yemeni provinces, exacerbating the number of the displaced people who lack shelter and the other basic needs.
