The commandership of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition declared Tuesday that 12 Saudi officers were killed in a helicopter crash north of Mareb city, eastern the capital Sana’a.
On Tuesday morning, a Black Hawk helicopter of the Saudi Armed Forces crashed while on duty in Mareb province, which resulted in the martyrdom of 12 officers from the Saudi Army. Said a statement release by the Arab Coalition.
“Investigations are being carried out to find out the circumstances of the incident”. Added the statement.
A source in the pro-government forces had earlier stated that the helicopter was shot down by the air defense systems of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition by mistake.
