The Saudi Border Guards announced on Tuesday evening the destruction of a booby-trapped boat for the Houthi militias, which tried to infiltrate the kingdom's territorial waters near the southern city of Jazan.

Al-Arabiya TV channel quoted the Saudi forces as saying that the boat was booby-trapped and without a commander, and it was bombed immediately.

"The Border Guards spotted an unknown sea boat driving fast at dawn on Tuesday off the coast of Jazan”. The Saudi channel said

"The boat entered into the Saudi territorial waters and was heading towards an oil refinery station of the State oil company Aramco in Jazan, before it was intercepted and bombed," it said.

The channel also broadcasted video footage showing an explosion inside the sea, saying it was the moment of bombing the boat.
