Security and local sources said that four civilians and a member of the Popular Resistance were murdered on Tuesday in separate incidents in Taiz city, southwestern Yemen.

A security source told Almasdaronline that two gunmen riding a motorcycle had had shot dead two vendors in the 26th September Street in the city center, and fled away.   

In another incident, an armed gang opened fire on civilians over an earlier land ownership dispute in Sina neighborhood in southern the city, killing two civilians.

An unknown gunman also had assassinated a person, reportedly accused of a murder crime, in the al Jumhori neighborhood, and another dead body for a member of the al Asefa Brigade was found in the street behind the Faculty of Arts in Taiz city center.
