Government forces control Houthis sites after battles against Houthis in Taiz

The government forces seized control on Wednesday of several military sites in al Kadahah area western Taiz city after ongoing fighting against the Houthis-Saleh forces.

 

 

A military source told Almasdaronline that the 35th Armored Brigade forces took control of the Houthi sites in al Rahabah village and al Mahroqat hill, as well as the hills leading to Hamra hill of al Maafer district.

 

Two government forces soldiers were killed, and others wounded in the fighting.”

 

The source added that the fighting was going on between the two sides on the outskirts of al Darb hill, with the government forces trying to control it, and advance to the central market in the region, and have made significant military gains.

 

Meanwhile, the son of the 22nd Mika Brigade Commander, Colonel Yahya al-Raimi, had died of the injuries he suffered in Houthis’ artillery shelling on a government forces site eastern Taiz city early this week.
