British Embassy in Yemen calls for urgent release of abductees, respect human rights

The British Embassy in Yemen has demanded the release of all abductees with no delay and respect human rights.

 

The Embassy, in coincidence with the International Day of the Enforced Disappearance Victims, highlighted some persons who had disappeared since the the Houthis-saleh militias coup.

 

The embassy said in several tweets on Twitter that there are families helplessly suffering for their relatives.

 

The embassy pointed out some cases of the abductees.

 

Salah al-Qaidi, an independent journalist who was detained in April 2015 and reportedly tortured in late October, still being held.

 

The 62 years Yahya al-Jubaihi, was abducted from his home in September 2016 and reportedly sentenced to death, still being held.

 

The 32 year opponent journalist Abdul Khalek Amran  ,was taken along with nine other journalists, still being held.
