The United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) said on Monday that 15 million Yemenis urgently needed safe drinking water, half of them children.

The organization said in a Tweet, "Those affected need sustained assistance to meet their basic needs of water and sanitation."

The collapse of the humanitarian situation has worsened health services.
