Human Rights Coalition: Houthis committed 3400 violations against children in Hajjah

The Houthis militants have committed 3,392 violations against children in Hajah province, northwestern Yemen,  since the beginning of 2014, the year that the Houthis group began its war against Yemenis, the rights coalition said on Nov. 20 2017, the World Children's Day

 

 

The Houthis recruited 2,150 children, where 430 children were killed and 683 injured in battles against the government forces in a number of the provinces in the country, said Hadi Wardan, head of the coalition of human rights organizations in the province.

 

He added that 43 child soldiers had been captured in the fighting and another 19 children were still missing. The Houthis group gave no information to their families, whether they are alive or dead.

 

The Houthis kidnapped 53 children of their opponents, of whom 15 were tortured. he stated.

 

 

''This toll are just what the monitoring team of the Human Rights Coalition could get where other fictitious figures the team could not verify," Wardan said.

 

 

The violations series against children still happening as the Houthis still recruiting and push them to battles, while the coalition had registered all those violations and will be reported to the international organizations and the United Nations.
