Government forces repel violent Houthi attack in Sarwah

On Monday, government forces repelled a violent attack by the Houthis in "Serwah" front in western Marib province.

A military source told Al-Masdar online, that the Houthis began a violent attack at dawn on the positions of "al-Hamra" and "Atyas" where the army forces of the legitimate government are stationed.

The source added that violent clashes erupted and lasted for about four hours.

The source pointed out that the army managed to break the Houthi attack and killed more than eight of the attackers, whose bodies are still in the places of clashes.

The attack was part of a series of intense attacks by the Houthis in recent days aimed at taking control of army positions in Serwah front.
