Internal disputes kill Houthi gunman and injure 3 in Dhamar

At least one Houthi gunman was killed and three others were injured Sunday afternoon when clashes erupted between Houthi gunmen in the Zurajah Triangle of the Hada Directorate north of Dhamar City, due to differences within the group.

Sources said that sharp disagreements had evolved into armed clashes for nearly an hour between the leaders of the Houthi group Nabil al-Sayed and Abdullah Atiyah, following which a Houthi gunman followed the first killed  "Mohammed Amin al-Burda" and injured Bashar al-Dhel’ee and Bashir el-Sayed.

The sources confirmed that the clashes took place following disagreements between those who supported the abduction and trafficking of children to the fronts and between those who were against it.

Al-Houthi militias in Dhamar province are witnessing a crisis of frequent disagreements and conflicts between their leaders and supervisors on financial and ethical corruption issues.
