The Houthis blow up a bridge north of Qa’tabah  and the government and coalition forces dominate Wa’el mountain


A field source told the source online that al-Houthi militia blew up a bridge on Wednesday morning, linking the district of Qa’tabah  and  Naqeel al-Shyam-Murais.

According to the source, the Houthi gunmen blew up “Qardah” bridge in a bid to obstruct the progress of the army and Southern resistance forces towards the remaining northern areas of Qa’tabah  , west of al-Dale province, in the south of the country.

Earlier Tuesday evening, units of the joint Forces, "the 30th Armored Brigade, the southern Resistance", succeeded in expelling the Houthis from Jabal Wa’el , but Iran-backed group responded by destroying vital bridges linking the areas under its control and those under the control of the Resistance forces And the army to prevent the collapse of its defensive lines and impede the progress of troops towards the north of its Qa’tabah  .

Security forces on Wednesday took control of the al-‘ellah camp in the Northern district of Qa’tabah after fierce fighting with the Houthis, using heavy artillery.

According to a field source speaking to the "Al-Masdar", the joint forces took control of Jabal  ' Wa’el  and Qardah north of Qa’tabah in fierce battles in which a number of al-Houthi fighters were killed and others injured.
