Two children injured, one hit by a mortar shell and the other by a mine explosion on the West Coast


Two children were injured, one with a mortar shell and the other by a Houthi landmine, in the past few hours on Yemen’s west coast.

Local sources told Al-Masdar Online that Houthi militias fired  mortar shells yesterday evening and this morning at Al-Mandhar neighborhood  in Al-Huk directorate, south of Hodeidah.

The fall of one of the mortar shells injured 10-year-old NAfe’a Nasser Abdo, who was taken to receive first aid at the Field Hospital in Al-Drihmi district.

On the other hand, 8-year-old Muhannad Saeed Mohammed al-Hajj was seriously injured by a landmine explosion in the western  Mowaze’a district in Taiz , and the child was taken to Al-Mocha Hospital and remains in a coma.
