Fighting rages in Koshar in Hajjah province, tribes repel Houthi attacks


Fighting between the tribesmen of Hajur and the Houthi gunmen rages in Koshar the northwestern province of Hajja, a field source said on Sunday that the tribes repelled intense attacks by militants of the group northeast of the Directorate.

According to the source who reported, "Al-Masdar  online ", the tribesmen repelled an attack of the Houthis in the mountainous al-Qayyim and AL-Za’lah east of the Directorate, and also repelled a similar attack on Jabal al-Mansoura from the south.

He said the tribesmen regained control of the village of Bani Shoos, south of Koshar, two weeks after the Houthis took control.

Saudi Arabian coalition fighters launched an air raid targeting a military vehicle carrying a number of militants from the al-Houthi group, in Jabal al-Qar’ah, north-east of the Obaisa area.

Another raid was aimed at a convoy of West Almandela, which had ammunition on board.

The fighting resulted in the killing of a number of tribesmen and the wounding of others, while dozens of Houthi militants were killed and wounded in the raids.
