Aden.. Angry protesters close roads to demand handing over of a soldier's killers

Scores of protesters from the southern city of Aden, the interim capital, closed major roads and burnt tires on Monday evening, denouncing the killing of a public security soldier by anti-terror forces.

Al-Masdar online reporter said, "The angry protesters blocked the passage of cars through Al Mualla Main road and Khor Maksar, demanding the killers of soldier Ra'fat Damba’, who killed by the forces led by Yusran al-Maqtari,"

The latter leads anti-terrorist forces loyal to the UAE and his forces accused of arresting dozens of residents of the city, most notably activists, politicians, preachers and mosque Imams.

According to our correspondent, the protesters lifted slogans demanding the immediate handing over of those involved in the incident.

Ra'fat had been killed earlier after he had been chased by anti-terror forces, shot to death and then died in hospital later on, and he was the only witness to the rape of a child crime.
