Interior Minister calls on coalition to arrest  special Forces camp attackers in al-Khokha


The Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister issued a memorandum to the Arab coalition leaders demanding the arrest the attackers of the Special Forces camp in Hodeidah and kidnapping his commander.

In the memorandum sent by the Minister of Interior Ahmed al-Maysari to the leader of the Arab coalition , he said that a group of members of the al-Tuhami brigades and under the directives of Abdur-Rahman Sho’ee Hajari, the commander of what so-called Tuhami resistance attacked the special Forces camp in Al-Khokha city aboard military armored vehicles on 28 Last February, they shot at soldiers and officers, killing one soldier and injuring another with  an officer, and abducted the  special forces commander in Hodeidah, deputy commander  of Police Col. Sadiq Attia, and hid him for three days.

"This attack is a dangerous precedent that serves only the enemies of legitmacy," it said, "It is not in the interest of the Tuhami resistance forces to attack their brothers and their fellow security personnel," and according to the memorandum, this attack, murder and kidnapping of the special forces in Hodeidah, "We consider it and offense  against  the ministry of interior  ".

The interior minister called on the Coalition leadership to arrest the defendants and refer them to the investigation so that they could receive their deterrent sanction, according to the memorandum stamped by the Ministry and the minister's signature.

The memorandum came a week after an attack by  leaders  of Tuhami elite force UAE-backed on the Special Forces camp, which is affiliated to President Hadi's legitimacy, and kidnapping of its commander.
