Houthis execute truck driver in Radaa after refusing to pay “ royalty " to a checkpoint


A local source said on Monday that the Houthi gunmen executed a truck driver in the Al-arash – Radaa district of al-Baydha province in central Yemen after the latter refused to pay them a financial royalty.

According to the source of "Al-Masdar online ", the Houthis shot the driver Khaled Mokhtar from Sabah district, and immediately killed him at the Thah point in the village of Muoqesa.

Mokhtar told the Houthis that he had no money at the moment, and that he would give them on his return after emptying  diesel and receiving the price from the farmers, he said.

"One of the Houthis said to him, pay the point royalty otherwise we will kill you , the driver renewed his assertion that there was no money with him and promised them to pay upon his return, but the Houthi gunman shot him ."

According to the source, the Houthis have already carried out similar operations, executing scores of civilians, including women in Cold blood, in various areas of al-Baydha province.
