The government on Wednesday called on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to take a clear and unequivocal stance of Houthis continues obstruction of  the implementation of the Sweden Agreement.

At a regular meeting in the southern city of Aden, the interim capital, it stressed her firm stance on the speedy implementation of the agreement without circumvention, stressing the need for the Houthis to implement the Sweden agreement and withdraw from the city and ports of Hodeidah.

Earlier in the day, government spokesman Rajeh Badi, in a press statement, called on the United Nations and the international community to pressure the Houthis "so that the fighting does not explode again in Hodeidah."

On the remarks of the UN envoy, Badi said:  "We have not yet received any ideas from the UN envoy on the redeployment  in Hodeidah."
