Civilians killed and wounded after security forces campaign to open road closed by protesters in Aden


Three civilians were killed early Saturday and others were shot by security forces who tried to open a road closed by protesters on Saturday morning in connection with the arrest of security forces for two citizens in the Al-Buraiqa district southern city of Aden, a local source said.

A local source told "Al-Masdar online " that three civilians were shot dead by security forces but did not provide a specific toll on the number of wounded believed to be more than 3.

Earlier protesters closed a major road in Al- Buraiqa district after arresting two people from the same neighborhood as the protesters, but security forces raided the site of the closure of the road and clashed with protesters and resulted in killing and wounding several of them.

Another source told Al-Masdar online that the dead civilians were killed by security forces only two (Majid al-Tabl, Abdullah al-Hoti) while saying that the four injured names  names are  (Issam Ali Hiba, Tawfiq Marzouk, Shafiq Marzouk, Ibrahim Ayash) as he told al-Masdar.
