Civilians displaced in ' Oud ' north of Al-Dale  following attack by Houthis and clashes with government forces


Local sources in Qa’taba district said two soldiers of the government forces were killed and two others injured in an attack on the area by Houthi militants on Monday night,.

According to a source of  "al-Masdar online " A group of Houthi gunmen infiltrated the area of al-Oud, which follows Qa’tbah district of from Al-Nadera Directorate of, eastern Ibb province, and clashes erupted between them and members of the government forces in the area  "Ezab " north of Qa’tbah, killing two and  injured others with varying injuries.

According to residents, families in the villages of Beit al-Shawky, located in the vicinity of the confrontation areas, were forced to flee after houses were confiscated for their exposure to bullets and shells.

The district of Qa’tbah (north of Al-Dale) witnessed intermittent confrontations over the past years between Houthi militants and legitimate government forces before the army was able to advance late last year to the vicinity of the city of Damt.

The sources told Al-Masdar online that the dead members of the government forces (Qaied Al-Shawky and Mohammed Al-Shawky) and that the soldier Waseem Salman Al-Abed were severely injured.
