Al-Qaeda and tribes chase elements of ISIS and battles in the last stronghold of them


Al-Qaeda and tribesmen have taken control of several ISIS sites following the ongoing fighting between the two sides for the fourth day in the province of al-Baydha (central Yemen), an official source said Wednesday.

According to the source who told , "al-Masdar online ", al-Qaeda and the tribes sweeping a number of areas, and are pursuing a number of elements of "ISIS" who withdrew to unknown places, while others withdrew towards the Houthi sites in the area of Nofan.

He reported that al-Qaeda and the tribes have tightened control of the positions of Mudaiher, Al-Ash’ar, Maqalid, Hadhbat Yemen and Khidrat Al-Hariwah, while battles are also taking place (9 p.m. Wednesday) in the Al-Sama in Yameenarea, the last site of the "ISIS ".

The fighting erupted between the two sides following the provocation of the ISIS organization  to the people of Yakla region and the surrounding areas.

Al-Qaeda members belong to a number of areas of al-Baydha and Yemen, making them closer to the tribes, while most of the elements of "ISIS" descend to a number of Arab and Western countries.
